Dr. Joseph Esposito, affectionately known as "Dr. Joe" to his colleagues, patients and friends, has become one of the most dynamic, authoritative international speakers on nutrition in the country. He is literally a living reference library of information on nutrition and healthy lifestyles, making him a much-sought after lecturer by corporations, educational institutions, trade shows and conferences, professional and civic organizations and international sports events. Some of the many companies he has worked with include Aetna Insurance, AT&T, Lockheed, Coca-Cola, Deloitte & Touche, and The American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
Dr. Joe is also a nationally-recognized radio/television nutritional consultant, and is the syndicated radio show host of “Health Talk Atlanta”, on which he shares his leading edge research in the field of food and nutrition and how it affects all aspects of health and disease. He has also appeared on NBC, 11-Alive News and Noonday shows, as well as Z93 radio, WSTR radio, and he hosted the popular "Nutrition Kitchen™" television show. Dr. Joe is the award winning author of “Eating Right… For The Health Of It!” (This book is a must for the person just beginning to make the transition to better eating and will also help the seasoned expert who is looking for new ideas and recipes.) and is the creator of “Essential Source” whole-food supplements.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Joe is the President of Health Plus Wellness Center, a multi-disciplinary health care center specializing in preventive health care and life extension. He is also a Senior Advisor to the Doctor's Chiropractic Exchange, a company founded on the principle of advancing public awareness of health through television, radio and print media. He has been International Spokesperson and Advisor to the National Safety Associates.
Dr. Joe has received numerous awards for his efforts in the advancement of his profession, including the International Chiropractic Honor Society; Diplomat, National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Who's Who is Executives and Professionals, and has been selected for two years as one of the "Top 50 Single Business Leaders in Atlanta" by the Georgia Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He has had the distinct honor of providing Chiropractic services to the "Theater of the Stars" Broadway Series and the Council of Performing Arts of New York. He is also a columnist/consultant for the World Health News and The Life Line newspapers.
An extensive background in science and chemistry laid the foundation for Dr. Joe’s educational studies, which includes a B.S. degree in Clinical Nutrition and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. He also completed his graduate work from Life University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He holds the advanced degrees of Diplomat of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists and Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management. He is also a Licensed Dietitian. His special studies include: Low Back Disc Diagnosis and Correction, Physical Diagnosis, Pediatric Care, Soft Tissue Manipulation, Extremity Diagnosis and Correction, Cranial Diagnosis and Correction, Two Year X-ray Internship, Two Year Clinical Internship, Applied Kinesiology, Sacro-Occipital technique, Advanced Sacro-Occipital Technique, Chiropractic Ortho-Spinology and Chiropractic manipulative Reflex Technique. He also holds certifications in the following: Medico-Legal Aspects of Spinal Trauma, Orthopedic Fractures, Casting and Orthodics, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic Orthopedic Neurology, Cervical Spine Orthopedics, Lumbar Spine Orthopedics, Shoulder, Arm and Hand Orthopedics, Impairment Rating, Orthopedic Certification in Hip, Knee and Ankle, Physical and Lab Diagnosis and Radiology Procedure and Diagnosis. He is licensed with the Georgia Board of Chiropractic, New York Board of Chiropractic and Florida Board of Chiropractic.
